Have you ever thought about how drawing can be a live competition?
In April this year, students Fong Wing Kiu and Lam Tsz Ying from Loyal Five represented their school in the Hong Kong Digital Art Battles Schools Tournament 2025. Amid fierce competition from over a hundred students, Fong Wing Kiu successfully made it into the top 16, while Lam Tsz Ying reached the finals and came in second place.
In the digital art drawing competition, participants only had 20 minutes to draw and complete a designated topic, emphasizing composition, color use, speed, and storytelling. The students drew from 1 pm to 6 pm that day, completing four matches in a short time. It was truly impressive!
