Participation in the Jockey Club "Jockey Club ICH+ Innovative Heritage Education Programme" — Joint Student Exhibition at Jao Tsung-I Academy &Exhibition of Student Visual Arts Work
Our Visual Arts Department has always been dedicated to fostering a creative fusion between traditional culture and modern innovation. In the past academic year, our students actively participated in the Jockey Club ICH+ Innovative Heritage Education Programme, funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. This valuable opportunity allowed them to gain hands-on experience in two major traditional handicrafts:
S5 Canton Porcelain (Guangcai) Making Technique—"Melodies on Porcelain"
Our S5 students innovatively drew inspiration from classic Cantonese music, translating its rhythmic tempos into elegant lines on porcelain. Through dedicated practice of traditional line-drawing and coloring, they "composed" moving melodies with brilliant colors on white porcelain, creating a stunning cross-disciplinary fusion of visual and musical art.
Traditional Bamboo Paper Crafting Class：
In our bustling Visual Arts room, our Society members transformed into mini-artisans. Starting completely from scratch, they meticulously wove ordinary bamboo strips and tissue paper with endless patience, turning them into exquisite 3D artworks. Through this process, students displayed immense perseverance and gained a deep appreciation for the dedication of traditional craftsmen.
Thanks to our students' dedication and bold creativity, a series of stunning intangible cultural heritage works rich in local flair has come to life!
We are incredibly honored to be invited to showcase our students' masterpieces at the Jockey Club ICH+ Innovative Heritage Education Programme Annual Exhibition, held at the Jao Tsung-I Academy from June 27 to July 12.

Exhibition of Student Visual Arts Work
The Visual Arts Department has recommended our students to participate in the Student Visual Arts Work Exhibition 2025/26 organized by the Education Bureau. The exhibition aims to recognize students' achievements in Visual Arts by showcasing the artwork of primary and secondary school students, while providing an opportunity for students and teachers to learn from one another. Out of over 3,000 entries, three pieces of artwork from our school successfully stood out and were selected for the exhibition. The shortlisted students include:
