2025-26 Shanghai Tourism, Career Advancement, and Cultural Exploration Trip (Organized by the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Studies and the Career & Life Planning Team)

From July 3 to 7, 2026, the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Studies and the Career & Life Planning Team co-organized the '2025-26 Shanghai Tourism,Career Advancement, and Cultural Exploration Trip'. A group of 33 Secondary 4 and Secondary 5 Tourism and Hospitality Studies students, accompanied by their teachers, embarked on a 5-day, 4-night learning journey to Shanghai. To gain first-hand insights into the thriving local tourism industry and broaden their subject knowledge, students visited renowned landmarks including local hotels, The Bund, Tianzifang, and Shanghai Disneyland. The itinerary also included a visit to the Site of the First National Congress of the CPC, where students learned about national history and participated in the daily flag-lowering ceremony. In addition, the group visited Tongji University, a prestigious local institution, where they engaged in meaningful exchanges with university students. Through these immersive experiences, students gained a deeper understanding of future academic pathways and benefited immensely from the journey.
