In 2025, our school has conducted multiple in-depth local art tours, allowing students to appreciate diverse artistic creations up close. This aims to broaden their artistic perspectives, enhance their interest and abilities in art appreciation, and strengthen their understanding of the cultural and artistic fields.
During the activities, students participated in various themed lectures, exhibition tours, and artist sharing sessions. This not only inspires their creativity and imagination but also encourages them to develop a lifelong interest in art.

M+ School Programmes in July: Designers' Dreams and Practices - Thematic Guided Tour and Extended Workshops
On July 3, the Visual Arts Department led Form Four and Form Five students to the M+ Museum. Through the thematic guided tour and extended workshops titled "Designers' Dreams and Practices," students explored the close connection between design and everyday life.

Design is present in all aspects of life, from everyday items to community planning, embodying designers' visions and practices for the future. The guided tour made use of the museum's design and architectural collections as a medium to encourage students to think about how creativity balances ideals and reality. By drawing inspiration from sketches, documents, and physical objects in the exhibition, students transformed into "life researchers," conceptualizing innovative solutions to improve everyday life.

On the day of the event, students first visited the "Making It Matters" exhibition hall to gain a deeper understanding of the ideas and processes behind design. The hall displayed furniture, architectural models, and interactive installations, allowing everyone to intuitively experience how design drives social change. The subsequent group workshops took this learning into practice—students designed unique table tennis bats, blending functionality with aesthetics and exercising their creativity. Finally, they used their designed bats to play a match, and the atmosphere was lively and enthusiastic!
