The Chinese Department of our school held the Chinese Culture Activity Day on February 4. The day was packed with a rich variety of activities, including:
Secondary 1: Traditional Chinese Etiquette Experience – Writing Spring Couplets
Secondary 2: Traditional Chinese Etiquette Experience – Tea Ceremony
Secondary 3: Traditional Chinese Craftsmanship Experience – Mugwort Hammers, Bamboo-woven Lantern Ships, Printing Techniques, and Ancient Catapults
Secondary 4 & 5: Seminar on Chinese Culinary Culture
Through these cultural experiences, our teachers and students were able to deeply appreciate the profound knowledge and virtues of Chinese culture. The event also successfully fostered a Putonghua-speaking atmosphere on campus.
