S4 VA Students Participating in M+ Sigg Collection Interactive Thematic Tour: Inner Worlds

On the afternoon of March 27 (Friday), ten S4 Visual Arts students visited the M+ Museum for a thematic guided tour of the exhibition "M+ Sigg Collection: Inner Worlds." The activity focused on how contemporary Chinese artists from the mid-1990s to the 2010s carved out internal spaces through their creations to express complex emotions such as joy, anxiety, and serenity amidst rapid social change.

The visit featured highly interactive engagement between the students and the M+ gallery guide. Through thought-provoking dialogue and expert commentary, students explored how artists transform cultural symbols and traditional motifs into a unique visual language. This inquiry-based approach encouraged students to analyze artworks from multiple perspectives and reflect on the connection between contemporary art and the inner self.

This discovery learning experience greatly broadened the students' artistic horizons, enhancing their critical observation skills and providing profound inspiration for their own creative development.
