Our school choir took part in ‘Choir Clinic & Exchange’ organized by the Hong Kong Inter-School Choral Festival on 27th January. It was our pleasure to have Singaporean conductor and composer, Dr. Darius Lim, coming personally to give guidance to our students. Dr. Lim is the Founder and Artistic Director of the Voices of Singapore. He is a world-renowned composer and award-winning conductor and is one of the most sought-after Singaporean choral composers and conductors.
In the masterclass, Dr. Lim taught our students knowledge and techniques about vocal practices, rehearsal training and performances of song pieces. The choir members felt a significant improvement after the guidance. All members benefited greatly from the class. Once again, thanks very much for Dr. Lim’s guidance.
