
Our school is dedicated to promoting art technology and diversified creation. Recently, our students showcased their unique creativity and achieved outstanding results in various territories-wide art competitions. Principal Ms. Ho presented several major awards during the morning assembly to recognize our students for their remarkable achievements.
Here are the highlights of the accomplishments:
1. Hong Kong Schools Digital Art Battle (Season 6)
Champion & International First Runner-up: Lam Tsz Ying (5C). Tsz Ying delivered a stellar performance in the "6th Hong Kong Digital Art Battle." She went through a grueling four-hour live tournament, fighting her way up from the Round of 16 to the Grand Final, and successfully claimed the Territory-wide Championship. Subsequently, she received an official invitation from the organizer to represent Hong Kong at the "Hong Kong Illustration and Creative Show 2025" held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. There, she participated in a two-day live-drawing online duel against students from Malaysia. Following professional judging and public voting, she ultimately clinched the International Group First Runner-up, garnering cross-regional acclaim.
2. 2025 Secondary School Contemporary Drawing and Technology Application Competition
Our students demonstrated their strength in integrating art with technology in the " 2025 Secondary School Contemporary Drawing and Technology Application Competition" The event holds high prestige, adjudicated by university professors alongside renowned artists from Hong Kong, Mainland China, and overseas. Facing fierce competition, our students proudly swept four major awards:
• Creative Painting Category (First Runner-up): Fong Wing Kiu (5C)
• Creative Painting Category (Second Runner-up): Hui Wai Wai (3A)
• Creative Painting Category (Merit Award): Wu Tsz Wai (4B)
• Character Painting Category (Merit Award): Wei Amy (4A)
3. The Education University of Hong Kong "'Where Sky and Earth Meet' Space Art Education Programme": Mentored by Contemporary Art Master Xu Bing
Five of our Visual Arts elites—Fong Wing Kiu (5C), Lam Tsz Ying (5C), Wei Amy (4A), Wu Tsz Wai (4B), and Hui Wai Wai (3A)—participated in a top-tier collaboration this year: the "'Where Sky and Earth Meet' Space Art Education Programme" organized by The Education University of Hong Kong. During the program, students had the invaluable honor of receiving direct guidance from the world-renowned artist Mr. Xu Bing, which broadened their futuristic perspectives on space art. All five students were awarded Certificates of Commendation.
4. Wildlife Animals Art Competition
Organized by the Hong Kong Arts Development Organization, the "Wildlife Animals Art Competition" saw Leung See Wai (4A) and Li Pak Yin (4B) capture the Territory-wide Championship with their superb digital painting techniques and unique personal styles. They were also honored with the prestigious "Grand Master Style Award". The achievements of our other award-winning students are as follows:
• Second Runner-up: Hau Shu Yung (4B), Shek Man Tik (4C), Chin Tsz Ho (4B - also won the Outstanding Technique Award)
• Gold Award: Chan Lok Yiu Joey (4B), Sin Pak Wing (4C), Chan Tsz Hin (4C), Chan Hin Yeung (4C), Chan Tsz Yuet (4D), Tsui Tin Long (5B)
• Silver Award: Kam Hei Lui (4A)
5. Creative Children Painting Competition 2025: Awarded Gold Medal
In the "Creative Children Painting Competition 2025" organized by the Hong Kong Youth Creative Arts Association (HKYCAA), Hu Tsz Wai (4B) received high acclaim from the judging panel for her excellent composition and vibrant use of colors, earning the prestigious Gold Award.
6. Superior Culture's 'Black and White Digital Painting Competition'
Demonstrating their mastery of monochrome lines, light, and shadows, seven of our students performed exceptionally well in the "Black and White Digital Painting Competition" and were awarded Silver Awards:
• Leung See Wai (4A)
• Chin Tsz Ho (4B), Chan Tsz Hin (4B)
• Shek Man Tik (4C), Chan Hin Yeung (4C), Sin Pak Wing (4C)
• Tsui Tin Long (5B)
7. CCH Students Shortlisted in Ramon Lo’s "The Blue Rose on the Moon Art Awards"
The competition encourages participants across Hong Kong to interpret the song "The Blue Rose on the Moon" (《月球上的藍玫瑰》) by local singer Ramon Lo, using either traditional painting or AI digital art. The winning pieces were personally selected by Ramon Lo himself and will be showcased in a themed art exhibition. We are proud to announce that Lai Hoi Kiu (5A) and Yung Yuen Lam (5A) from our school have been successfully shortlisted, and their outstanding artworks are now featured in the online art gallery.
