CCH music teams participated in LCSD’s “Care and Concern Concerts” scheme to serve the elderly through music.

The CCH music team participated in the School Care Subsidy Scheme, organized by the Music Office of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, to serve the elderly through music. On 13 February 2026, they visited the Sun Chui Lutheran Centre for the Elderly to stage a one-hour music performance, bringing love and blessings to the elderly through music.

On that day, members of the school choir and the school orchestra performed a variety of Lunar New Year songs for the elderly, played music games and distributed gifts to the elderly. Everyone involved thoroughly enjoyed themselves, deeply feeling the joy and warmth of the festive season. The participating students also expressed their enthusiasm for taking part in more community service activities in the future.

Since its launch in the 2009/10 school year, the subsidy scheme has been warmly received by both school sponsoring bodies and social welfare organizations. Through this platform, participating students not only gain valuable experience in performing and serving the community, but also unleash their creativity, hone their communication skills, and foster teamwork and organizational abilities.
